Certified officers will begin pay up to $28.47 (Step 11).
New recruits will begin pay at $20.98, or $43,636 annually.

Medical first responder pay of $75 per month ($900 annually) & EMT pay of $100 per month ($1200 annually)
Health insurance is 100% paid for by the city and your family’s insurance (if you choose) will be paid at 64%
Facial hair is allowed as long as it doesn’t present a safety hazard
Ability to use sick &
vacation leave as it accrues
