The City of Sherwood offers after-school care from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for students attending Sherwood Public Schools (Sherwood, Oakbrooke, Sylvan Hills, and Clinton Elementary). The After School Program will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on days the children are out of school throughout the school year as long as it is not a City observed holiday or due to inclement weather.
The children eligible to attend will be 5 to 12 years old, and currently in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. A City of Sherwood van will pick up the children and bring them to the Bill Harmon Recreation Center. This Program is a recreationally based program. The program Counselors will assist with homework, conduct indoor and outdoor recreational activities as well as arts and crafts activities. For more information please call 501-835-6893.
