Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of programming for Sherwood residents of all ages that include sports leagues, physical fitness, aquatics classes, an after school care, and summer day camp. In addition to the active year-round schedule of programs offered by the department, The Parks Department maintains all of the City of Sherwoods parks and pools; and staff a Youth Center, Tennis Center, Library, public Golf Course and Recreation Center for use by the public. With 10 city parks, residents of Sherwood have a range of facilities for outdoor fun. Each of these facilities is maintained by the staff to ensure that they are attractive and safe for your family to use.
